Who needs a coach?

Those who need a change in life – work, home, relationships, recreation – and could benefit from the intentionality, structure, support, and encouragement of an outside voice and encourager to make it happen.


What exactly does a coach do?

A coach provides a structured approach to helping people implement intentional and beneficial change into their lives. While there may be some education and suggestions, the focus will be on guiding you through a process of determining where you are and where you want to be, evaluating your personal resources, deciding desired outcomes, devising a plan of action, and monitoring progress.


What can I expect from coaching?

  • Confidentiality – What we talk about is between you and I.
  • Processing Your Concerns – With some guidance from me, you will be able to more fully understand your situation and the problems that may be arising.
  • Identifying Your Resources – We will explore your strengths, work with your weaknesses, and employ external resources that will help you on your journey.
  • Setting A Course Forward – Through a structured and well-defined goal-setting process, you will decide how you are going to tackle your problems, implement change, and chart your future.
  • Accountability – Together, we will evaluate where you are, where you want to be, what you want to do, and how much progress you are making.
  • Flexibility – Not everything is going to work every time and that is OK. The key to moving forward is learning to be flexible enough to allow things to play out more smoothly.


How long will the coaching relationship last?

To provide enough time to learn more about you, set realistic and attainable goals, and adequately monitor progress, the initial coaching engagement will last five sessions. From there, it is dependent on where you are with achieving your goals and/or how much continuing support and encouragement you may want or need.


What will I get out of coaching?

Through the collaborative process of coaching, you will learn how to focus your desires and needs, set specific goals and actions, and have a mindset of intentional change. My desire is for each client to walk away experiencing success in improving their lives.
